Swiss chard is a healthy, hearty green, slightly more tender than kale. It can be easily sauteed in olive oil with garlic for a quick and healthy side dish. The stems may take a bit more cooking time than the leaves. The leaves can be added to soups and omelettes and is sometimes used as a substitute for spinach. Sold in bunches.
