“Fresh discoveries every day” means that visitors to our farm can expect to find something new and exciting each time they visit. There are always fresh and unique experiences to be had, whether discovering new varieties of fruits and vegetables, experiencing different seasonal offerings, or encountering innovative farming techniques. As farmers cultivating over 250 varieties of fruits and vegetables in season, we employ season-extending growing methods, allowing us to harvest fresh produce from April through November, and sometimes even December. This ensures that our offerings are always changing and evolving, providing our guests with a continuous stream of new experiences.
Our commitment to freshness extends to our various shopping locations, including Alstede Fresh at Lindeken Farms in Jefferson/Wharton, our year-round farm store in Chester NJ, Alstede Fresh at Chester on the border of Mendham and Chester, and Alstede Fresh at Bridgewater in Bridgewater NJ. These convenient locations make it easy for visitors to access our farm-fresh products.
During this time of year, visitors can expect to find a bounty of freshly picked homegrown strawberries and asparagus, with newly harvested crops continuously replenishing our farm stands, stores, and markets. Additionally, our high tunnels yield crisp lettuce, greens, and root vegetables, providing visitors with a diverse array of fresh produce to enjoy.
