Our favorite time of year is springtime with all of the blossoms, baby animals, and the endless possibilities of a new season. This also marks the beginning of our springtime & Easter activities on the farm, a time of renewal after a long winter’s rest. We look forward to longer daylight, warmer days, and the opportunity to invite families for much-needed outdoor time on our farm. The spring activities season starts on March 23rd with the introduction of these special activities curated for this time of year. Start with the tractor-drawn wagon rides for a scenic view of the 374-acre property in early springtime. The tractor-drawn wagon runs on a continuous loop so you can “hop on” and “hop off” like a bunny as many times as you like. Plan to use this method to navigate the various activities offered on the farm for your whole-day visit.
Once you have taken a scenic tractor-drawn wagon ride to get a lay of the land, use your map to plot your route to experience all of the fun. The day’s exciting activities include visiting with our adorable baby animals which kids of all ages enjoy. Your admission includes petting the fuzzy baby chicks, bunnies, and ducks in our animal nursery barn and you might even be surprised with a new animal arrival when you visit too! Before or after visiting with the baby animals be sure to take a stop right next door at our self-guided farm museum to view older tractors and antique farm equipment on display from a bygone era in earlier times.

Have fun at our Easter Egg Hunt before visiting with the Easter Bunny as you hop through the Bunny Trail Maze finding your way and snapping the perfect outdoor adventure photos. Ride the tractor-drawn wagon back to the front of the farm to climb the giant hay pyramid and then journey through the evergreen adventure maze while you build up an appetite.
Stop at our Farmhouse District Food Court to savor delicious sandwiches, sweets, and snacks, or plan to attend our Easter Bunny Breakfast or Bunny Trail Brunch which includes an all-you-can-eat breakfast or brunch along with the Springtime & Easter activities. You can learn more about these Farm to Table experiences on our website. A trip to our farm is not complete without a special treat from our homemade Alstede Fresh Creamery. The Bunny Hop shake will be available when you visit for a limited time this spring.
The springtime and Easter festivities run every day from March 23 – March 30th and then again from April 1 – April 7th.
