 WE ARE OPEN ON LABOR DAY:
Our Maplewood, Springfield,
and East Hanover markets will be
open on 9/6/10 from 10 am - 5 pm

June marks the start of the various Farmers' Markets throughout Northern New Jersey.  Our Alstede Farms trucks drive to various tailgate markets to sell our farm fresh produce in a variety of different cities where residents wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity to purchase farm fresh fruits and vegetables.   Very early in the morning, the Alstede Farms' staff pick the fresh produce.  Our growing season starts with homegrown asparagus, sweet strawberries, crisp lettuce and broccoli.  Each week new varieties of fruits and vegetables become available.  We stock our truck with over 200 different varieties of fruits and vegetables, along with ornamental plants, cut flowers, home-baked pies and brownies.  Special orders are always welcome!  Please note that the markets are held rain or shine.   


We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, Discover, EBT (Food Stamps, SNAP)
at all our Community Farmers' Markets as well as our Chester Farm Market.
We also accept all WIC and Senior WIC checks at all our
Community Farmers' Markets as well as our Chester Farm Market.
 
( Please note:  due to technical limitations, we are unable to accept
Customer Loyalty Cards or Gift Cards at our Community Farmers' Markets )
